AUSTIN, TEXAS (September 22, 2016): TRG Porsche is in Austin, Texas, for the final two races of the Pirelli GT3 Cup Trophy USA. The season finale is hosted at the same track where it began: at the beautiful Circuit of The Americas. Three TRG drivers — Patrice Gautier, Craig Lyons, and Steve Miller — will finish out the 2016 race series with their Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport cars.

Gautier has had success at COTA before, taking 2nd place in Race 2 of the first Pirelli GT3 Cup weekend. His very technical approach to racing has resulted in steady, solid drives from this Bay-Area based engineer, who’ll compete with the No. 19 Clubsport. At his last Pirelli GT3 Cup race in Utah, Lyons showed some of his best lap times yet and went as far as to qualify 2nd in class. He’s looking forward to strong results at the Texas track with his No. 3 Stor-It Self Storage/Mobettah Collectible Cars Porsche. Miller participated in the most recent GT3 Cup race at Sonoma just a few weeks ago, and gave spectators a thrilling neck-to-neck battle in the final laps of Saturday’s race. He finished in a great 2nd place position in his No. 7 James Farrell & co./COLO Logistics Porsche.

After travelling to some of the top racetracks in the West, including Laguna Seca, Sonoma, The Thermal Club and the Utah Motorsports Campus, the TRG drivers are looking forward to their return to the Circuit of The Americas. Live timing and scoring for Gautier, Lyons, and Miller can be found at competentmotorsport.com.
