The Racers Group CEO and champion sportscar driver Kevin Buckler won the Rolex 24 at Daytona with this model.

This car was purchased from Symbolic Motorcars in La Jolla, Calif. in 2007. The owner sent the car directly to TRG in Petaluma and the motor was rebuilt (case number 713). The gear box was taken from one of Kevin’s spare Porsche cars with 0 hours — and, it’s got #66 written on the spare. Four sets of Metalore axels were also included and the car was raced for three seasons across Asia at Sepang, Suzuka and Fuji in the Super Cup series sponsored by Gaikokuya. Patrick van Shoot was one of the car’s drivers.

After the Super Cup Series completed, van Shoot drove the car as a track car and local tracks would sell track time in it for customers.
