WoolfWood Refuge

WoolfWood Refuge

Wolfwood is dedicated to protecting the welfare of wolves and wolfdogs, and promoting an understanding of these animals in the hope of dispelling fear and opening the way for a healthy relationship between humans and wolves. We address these goals on a multitude of levels:

  1. Wolfwood provides a safe refuge for unwanted and homeless wolfdogs. All animals are contained in large enclosed areas. No animal is ever chained. All efforts are made to provide the best physical, mental, social and psychological environment for each animal. Each wolfdog is considered and treated as an individual with unique needs and qualities.
  2. Wolfwood provides extensive information and education on wolf and wolfdog behavior and issues surrounding them. Seminars and educational programs are presented to schools, state parks, the general public, other animal care facilities and various institutions. We also provide information and instruction to current or potential owners of these animals and the human behavior required when dealing with them.
  3. Wolfwood’s mission is to dispel myth and misinformation, judgment and prejudice, cruelty and inhumane treatment.

PawsCo

PawsCo

PawsCo is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation with a comprehensive approach. PawsCo includes three divisions: PawsCo Spay/Neuter, PawsCo Pet Food Drive and PawsCo Adoptions.

Spay/Neuter
PawsCo Spay/Neuter division provides spay and neuter services to Colorado communities and works with the area advocates and residents to create self-sustaining spay/neuter programming.

Pet Food Drive
PawsCo Pet Food Drive division aims to keep pets with their families by providing food through local area food banks. The ongoing drive collects dry and canned animal food and distributes the pet food to families in need through a partnership with the Food Bank of the Rockies.

Adoptions
PawsCo Adoptions division saves dogs and cats from underserved shelters, with a focus on rescuing pets in need from the state of Colorado. The rescue is an all-breed, foster-based organization where all pets live in foster homes – rather than a shelter – until adopted.

PawsCo is a 100-percent volunteer run organization committed to collaboration, education and efficient operation.

Do what you can, when you can.
Spay/neuter, adopt, foster, volunteer, donate and save lives.

“Doing The Most Good.” In these four words, our mission – to feed, to clothe, to comfort, to care. To rebuild broken homes and broken lives. By walking with the addicted, we can lead them to recovery. In fighting hunger and poverty, we can feed and nurture the spirit. And, in living and sharing the Christian Gospel by meeting tangible needs, we give the world a lasting display of the love behind our beliefs.

The Salvation Army operates 7,546 centers in communities across the United States. These include food distribution, disaster relief, rehabilitation centers, anti-human trafficking efforts, and a wealth of children’s programs. Our work is funded through kettle donations, corporate contributions, and the sale of goods donated to our Salvation Army Family Stores. Eighty-two cents of every dollar we spend supports our various missions across the country. We are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, and contributions are deductible for Federal Income Tax Purposes to the extent permitted under Section 170(b)(2) for corporations.

Our mission: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
