Paul Camusi is a long time friend of TRG and is a very active member of our Arrive & Drive program. He lives in Chico, Ca. and is one of the co-founders of the world-famous Sierra Nevada brewery. He has farming interests in Chico and is semi-retired. He has two kids- Nick and Olivia.

-How you became interested in racing
I had driven BMW’s and always liked cars. One day I saw a 993 Carrera S advertisement and decided I wanted one. I went to Thunderhill to race and got involved with PCA in 1998.

-How you came to race with TRG
Through Porsche Panorama, I called TRG after reading one of the ads for their Arrive & Drive program. I didn’t want to modify the 993 so I began racing an old 1973 911 turbo that TRG built for me in 1999.

-Your favorite courses
Road America, Sears Point, Thunderhill, Laguna Seca and Road Atlanta.

-Anecdotes about past racing events with TRG
I’ve been with kevin since the beginning, his club racing days. I remember going to Birmingham and roughing it- practically sleeping in our cars or on the ground. Its a far cry from the service Kevin offers these days.

-Info about your car
My first cup car was a 2001. Then I had a 2004. Now I drive a 997.

-What is your dream car?
I already have one. I own a Porsche RUF Turbo. I love it because its a car you can drive everyday.

-What track have you always wanted to drive? Why?
Nuerburgring.

-Any philosophies or special interests you have
I am an avid bike racer. I prefer individual sports to team sports. I like endurance sports as well as camping. I enjoy good food and wine as well.
