It's used by teams like RCR, Bill Davis Racing, DEI, Evernham and Hendrick Motorsports.

LT Series (Installed System)

The Model LT fire extinguisher is a light weight design used in both circle track and drag racing. Along with the light weight cylinder, the Model LT has a very compact discharge head which gives it a smaller overall size. Another feature not found on even more expensive racing extinguishers is the "swivel" head design. The activation portion of the discharge head can be rotated to align with the pull or push cable. This provides much more installation flexibility. The discharge head is machined from billet aluminum and anodized for great looks and has two separate discharge ports. This lets you run separate lines to the driver and engine.
The aluminum cylinder is U.S. DOT approved and is capable of being refilled. Model LT extinguishers are available in 3, 5 and 10 pound Halon capacity and 5 or 10 pound foaming agent capacity. Halon extinguishers come standard in white powder coated cylinder with brushed aluminum anodized head. Foaming agent extinguishers have brushed aluminum cylinders. Polished cylinders are available.

Model LT extinguishers are available separately for existing installations or in kits that include installation hardware.

Standard kits include a charged extinguisher, aluminum mount bracket, aircraft "T" bar clamps, 10 feet of aluminum discharge line, 3 spray nozzles with fittings, and 15 foot pull cable.

PB Series (Removable System)

Safecraft's unique machined billet head removable extinguisher system is a favorite with rally racers. The polished stainless cylinder looks great.

Maybe your sanctioning body does not require you to have an installed extinguishing system. If so, and you are still concerned about the possibility of fire in your car, maybe one of our removable systems is the way to go.
