1973 911 Race Car with 996 GT3 Engine
Ready to take the plunge into Club level Porsche racing?
Introducing the latest track machine offered for sale from TRG.
This 1973 911E has been transformed by a fellow racecar builder Sol Snyderman at Perfect Power Chicago. He took the already lightweight long hood 911, striped the interior, fabricated a custom rollcage, replaced the body panels for fiberglass, installed Lexan windows and to top it off, threw a 30k mile 996 GT3 motor in. The car is so light it requires lead ballast for GT3 class in POC. This car can easily pass tech and compete in PCA Club races and Porsche Owners Club races.
The car has had a complete nut and bolt prior to listing and is ready to hit the track. The G50 Transmission was recently refreshed and only has 6 hours on it. The engine has around 32k miles on it and is serviced regularly. Car comes with a spare set of wheels with used Toyo 888’s. The car needs nothing but a determined driver who is ready for this race proven and well cared for machine. TRG can design and apply a new vinyl livery before delivery if desired.
