Club Racing

Kevin Buckler Wins IMSA 1995The Racer's Group has always been firmly rooted in the Porsche clubs throughout the US. Kevin began racing in autocross in 1990 in a stock 944. He entered his first Time Trial/Driver's Education at Road America in 1991, and in 1992 was fortunate enough to participate in the inaugural PCA national club race at Second Creek in Colorado. He won his class at Second Creek and was hooked. Kevin soon joined POC and after about two years of racing competitively with PCA and POC, he won his first pro race, 1995's IMSA California Grand Prix at Sears Point in the #63 911 sponsored by Togo's.

Porsche Club RacingFond memories of the 1990's are more than just memories to Kevin, who, along with the club racing crew at TRG, help dozens of drivers feel the same rush that Kevin felt as he excelled at club events while finding his style and learning how to be a better driver. Each year we truck both TRG and customer cars all over the country to participate in IMSA GT3 Challenge events, with expert knowledge and experience in tow, to help every driver learn the nuances of the track, find the right setup for their car, and have a great time competing in the semi-pro circuit.

We Support Club Racing

The Racer's Group was born out of club racing in the 1990's and we continue to support both local and national clubs in a variety of ways every year.
