Newly pro drivers Doug Bielefeld and Klaus Viljanmaa took to Circuit of the Americas for the first time this past weekend. Not only that, but it was their first time in the Aston Martin Vantage GT4, taking on the rest of the GS Class in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.

Round Two of the Grand-Am support series took place at the brand-new facility in Austin, TX on a gorgeous weekend. The drivers got up to speed quickly with the professional competition during practice sessions, and by the time the race rolled around, they were hanging tough with some of the best drivers in North America.

The 4.7L V8 of the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 showed it’s strength around the circuit, helping the drivers to a solid finish.

In the paddock, the Astons (Vantage GT3 included) were on display and swarmed by fans throughout the weekend.
