LEXINGTON, OH. (August 1, 2014) – TRG-AMR drivers Nick Esayian, Drew Regitz, and Jorge De La Torre and crew are ready to compete for podiums at the beautiful Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course August 1 – August 3. The three season long entries in the GTS class are looking to avoid bad luck and put their Vantage GT4s up front all weekend in this traditional road race calendar event for Pirelli World Challenge. The drivers will race both Saturday and Sunday afternoon as a part of the packed schedule of races.

At the last event at Toronto, the Natural Cures No. 34 of Nick Esayian was involved in an unfortunate multi-car pile-up in Saturday’s race that was completely out of his control. This accident meant that Esayian’s TRG-AMR team worked literally overnight to repair damage sustained to the front end of the Natural Cures Vantage GT4. The efforts by the crew and Esayian led to a strong 11th place finish on Sunday. He now looks to Mid-Ohio and its sweeping layout as a track where he will fight hard for a top three finish both days.

Likewise Drew Regitz in the No. 02 Vantage GT4 found himself caught in the early accident at Toronto on Saturday. And again, like Esayian, the TRG-AMR crew also worked all night to restore the Vantage GT4 to a competitive package for Sunday. Regitz rewarded himself and the team with a Top 10 finish after turning some of the fastest laps in the race. He also received the coveted “Hard Charger” award. He will return this weekend to one of the few tracks on the PWC schedule where he has raced the Aston Martin. Regitz is looking for his best run of the year.

Finally, No. 04 Jorge De La Torre is making his way to Mid-Ohio and continues his 2014 season of fast driving and fast learning. De La Torre earned a season best 11th place in the Saturday race at Toronto. He has become known within the team for his hard work to improve throughout the weekend and also his steady and measured approach with some top finishes for the team this year. This has meant he leads the team in race laps completed for 2014. This weekend De La Torre is fired up to learn the technical track in Lexington and improve as he drives each session.

Kevin Buckler, CEO, TRG-AMR North America, LLC:

“We are looking for a great run with our drivers this weekend–probably the best of the season. This is the first track we will have been to where all the drivers have seen the track previously. Our team has traditionally done well here with four major GT victories and I think this circuit suits the Aston’s very well. Steve Cameron and the crew have been working diligently for this weekend and feel this will be a turning point for the season. We are ready.”
