ELKHART LAKE, Wisc. (June 19, 2014) – TRG-Aston Martin Racing North America (TRG-AMR) takes its three car GTS class Aston Martin Vantage GT4 team to historic Road America this weekend. The Elkhart Lake, Wisc. track will host the Pirelli World Challenge with races on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning at the beautiful four-mile road course.

After a positive Detroit Belle Isle Sunday Race Two where all three Vantage GT4s finished in the top 15 for the second time this season, TRG-AMR is ready to return to the race track. Drew Regitz in the No 02 Aston Martin posted an eighth place finish on Sunday in Detroit and has shown that he has the pace to compete for podiums in the GTS class. This will be his first time competing in PWC at Road America, but he has a teammate he can go to for advice on this fast, winding track.

That teammate is Nick Esayian who has competed in PWC five previous times at Road America. Esayian in the No 34 Natural Cures GT4 will look to move forward from his current ninth place in the season points standings. He like Regitz knows he has the pace to contend for podiums and will look to use this race to move toward the top five in points.

Finally, young driver Jorge De La Torre has continued to work hard in and out of the Vantage GT4 to make progress toward consistently running with his teammates. His recent 15th place Sunday finish at the Belle Isle round of Pirelli World Challenge has moved De La Torre into 16th in the season points classifications. With a return to a more traditional road course, De La Torre will focus on learning the track and completing both races so that his growth as a driver can continue.

Kevin Buckler, CEO, TRG-AMR North America, LLC:

“Road America is one of my very favorite racing circuits anywhere and we have a long and successful history at this track. It is with great pride that we are here for the first time with our Pirelli World Challenge team of Aston Martins and our 3 awesome drivers. This should be a good circuit for the Aston’s and we are looking for a strong run.”
